Wind, water and a combination of the two in the form of storm surge caused massive property damage.

Typically, property policies are limited to wind damage while water damage falls within the domain of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Although seemingly evident, drawing a distinction between wind and flood damage can be complicated, especially when the combination results in extensive destruction.
