Biography

Gabrielle represents domestic and international insurers in complex insurance coverage matters and in litigation involving both first-party and third-party claims, including commercial property, commercial liability, professional liability, bad faith, fraud, theft, collapse, business interruption, co-insurance penalties, jewelers block, fine art and rescission.

She spent five months on secondment in the London insurance market working with a leading Lloyd’s syndicate on a broad range of the syndicate’s major U.S. claims, including commercial property, homeowners liability, professional liability and D&O claims, as well as various phases of the claims process, including claims investigation and adjustment, coverage analysis, litigation and resolution. She also advised Underwriters on U.S. policy wordings.

Gabrielle has also been seconded to a domestic insurer as Claims Counsel, supervising and directing defense counsel throughout the United States. During this secondment, she managed and resolved a book of miscellaneous professional liability and allied health claims, gaining unique insight into promptly and effectively assessing exposure and prioritizing the early resolution of claims and lawsuits.

Additionally, Gabrielle was selected as a Super Lawyer.
