Scott PattersonScott focuses his practice on insurance coverage and insurance fraud/arson. As a result of his over 25 years of experience with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office serving as a prosecutor, including over a decade in its insurance fraud division as the supervising deputy attorney general and senior counsel, Scott brings substantial experience representing insurance carriers in investigating and defending fraudulent claims, including staged vehicle accidents, fraudulent and exaggerated medical claims, arson, homeowners and automobile theft claims. Through his contacts in the attorney general's office, Scott interfaces with all of the appropriate agencies of law enforcement to protect and represent the firm’s clients from exposure to fraudulent claims. Scott is frequently called upon to provide seminars to the insurance industry on the handling of arson and fraudulent claims. Scott was also the Deputy Bureau Chief for the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Major Crimes Bureau. Prior to his employment with the New Jersey Attorney General's office, Scott was a law clerk to the Hon. Edwin Nyklewicz.

Prior to attending law school, Scott served in the United States Navy for over six years. He is currently an adjunct professor at Rowan University, located in New Jersey, where he teaches law.
