We maintain an all-encompassing insurance-related practice for domestic and international insurance carriers, which includes the handling of sophisticated insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes, purported breaches of insurer’s duties and insurance contract interpretation relating to a wide variety of claims.

We represent major insurance carriers in large multiparty declaratory relief actions. We also represent insurers, including excess and surplus lines carriers and reinsurers, in the monitoring and handling of major coverage litigation with emphasis in the areas of construction defect, commercial general liability, employers liability, environmental, excess and reinsurance, homeowners, professional liability and property. We are also relied upon to defend insurance companies against claims of breach of insurer’s duties in both the first and third party context, and to defend independent insurance administrators in first party cases involving life, health and disability claims.

This group also includes the London Claims Group, which coordinates and handles notifications to professional and general liability business.
